If you need help training or planning for your next adventure we’re here to help! Let’s talk.
In 2019 we took a year off of work to live in our van and travel all over. We loved our time but, also felt incredibly frustrated sometimes when trying to plan our days. We wanted to know where the locals ride, how and where we could jump in the rivers, and where we could find food after our busy days. We spent a lot of time lost, hungry, or riding on less than optimal roads. Our favorite days were when we hooked up with folks who knew the great lake for a swim, the best place for ice cream, and how to find the trail head off that dead end road next to the broken down tractor that leads to the petroglyphs.
We still love to explore from our home base in Western Colorado. We also love to create adventures for those with a variety of interests, experience, and athleticism, working hard to make sure everyone finds something special to do while they are here. If you’d like help planning your family trip we can help you too. Just let us know who is coming, what they’d like to do, what your hopes and dreams are for the trip and we’ll help you come up with an itinerary that makes every one happy. We can simply help you plan your routes and turn you lose or, we can come with you to act as guides, baggage handlers, and to offer encouragement along the way. Some of plans we’ve helped with in the past include:
A 50th Birthday Trip which included a sunrise hike, a point to point sag supported cycling/hiking day, a self guided ride over the Colorado National Monument, a 9 mile snowy hike at 9000 feet, several wine tastings, a visit to a dispensary and lots of time porch sitting and sky gazing.
A Mother Son Trip that included 4 mountain towns, two horseback rides, one alpine coaster, wake boarding, a via ferratta and a first 14er summit.
A Mt. Kilimanjaro Training Camp that included two bike rides, a glacier hike, three nights sleeping at 10,000 feet, and four 14ers.
A Personal Cycling Training Weekend with on bike support that totaled over 200 miles and 14000 feet of elevation gain.
A Three Sisters Desert Gravel Adventure that included, three days of gravel riding and two nights of glamping on unbelievably beautiful BLM land.
