Do you stop riding when the temperatures drop? When you join Coach Sarah’s Sunday Winter Ride Group you’ll be more motivated to pull on those winter riding clothes and get outside. She offers a series of free, road group rides designed to get you all out on bikes this winter. Rides start November 2nd and take place every other Sunday at 11 a.m. until January 25th. All Rides Leave from the Palisade Town Square at 11 a.m.
The Nuts and Bolts: The Sunday ride is NOT designed to drop people but, we also need to stay warm. You can expect:
a consistent pace ranging from 15 - 17 mph depending on wind and terrain.
no stops, unless there’s a mechanical. We keep moving for the full duration of the ride.
a smooth even effort - no attacks, no jumping out of corners, no blasting up hills.
no rapid accelerations and no sprinting across cross streets
no egos!
FOR THE ENTIRE RIDE!
Route changes every 2 rides, getting progressively longer but NOT faster.
The First 2 rides will be 30 - 35 miles and leave from The Peachbowl Park in Palisade at 11:00 a.m.
Benefits of Joining:
